Welcome to Farmageddon, our fall crop adventure!

We’re excited to kick off a new semester at our incubator farm, where we'll be growing various fall crops! We’ve set some specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound S.M.A.R.T. goals that will help us thrive as we work toward a sustainable farming practice. These will be listed here for all of you to see and be inspired.

This season, we are growing a mix of vegetables and flowers that support each other through intercropping. We’re looking forward to growing carrots, beets, cauliflower, marigolds, sunflowers, squash, long beans, corn and many more crops! Each plant plays a role in creating a healthy environment for the others to ensure our goals are met.

As we set everything up and start growing our wonderful crops, we will be here to share our journey with you. Join us as we navigate the challenges and successes of farming, and get inspired to start your own garden!

This video highlights our flowering cucumbers and sun-glow tomatoes sprouting, marking an exciting start to our farming journey. While slightly blurry, this timelapse captures the tomatoes forming if you look close enough. In the background, you can also see the early development of our three sisters crop coming to life.

We’re thrilled to introduce our group of University of Florida students passionate about farming and excited to cultivate our skills this semester! Our names are Mark, Riley, Shoshana, Raegan, and Nick, and we're currently enrolled in an organic crop production class that provides us with the hands-on experience to make our farming dreams a reality. To enhance our journey, we also have an AI helper named Willow, who’s assisting us every step of the way! Together, we can’t wait to see what we’ll grow this semester!
